not loading images?

Hi there

This is absolutely doing my nut in!

I am a total novice home Photoshop user but I have done this procedure before and it worked…now it won’t!

I am trying to build a web gallery so as I can build a collage from a Word file, which has 450 photos in it

So far I have:

Stored all images in a Word document

Saved them as a web page layout

Opened a Photoshop document

Gone to automate, web page gallery

Selected as source the folder with the images

Selected as destination another folder (same drive)

Hit OK and Photoshop tells me “None of the source files can be opened by Photoshop”

As I have done this procedure before (using the same images) and it worked I can’t understand why it won’t have it now?

Thoughts appreciated, abuse for being a technically challenged doddery old fool will be accepted

I'm sorry I can't help you, but what are you doing saving pictures in a Word document? Word is used for text. why don't you save your pictures inside Photoshop using layers? Better still, why not get a web making application like Frontpage and save your pictures across or down the page?

I was taking the images from facebook and wanted a file to save them in, at the time I didn't have Photoshop, and thought at the time it was a strange thing to do

In the end I had to then save them to a folder in my pictures and then upload them to photoshop

now I have Photoshop I would probably just save them to my pictures and then import them...


for the record I finbally figured out where i was going wrong from before, but thanks for your response anyway
