OK, I give up. Other than going to some place where the trees actually look like that, how did u get that look? Also, any chance u could be persuaded to post the straight-out-of-the-camera version for comparison / learning?

Sorry Tom:

Original tree reduced from 10 meg to 4 i think just for here then reduced to 1000 for site only.


My trick with this was to duplicate original, then desaturate new copy then make a high pass and resharpen that image. Then alter lighting slightly just to boost the bottom line colours and shade.

did u paint them in, or did u use the lighting tool?
