Normalize level for multiple pictures

Hi Photoshop Gurus,

I have 18 pictures taken by moving the camera on a slider bar with the intention to create a lenticular 3D print. I guess because of the flash light some pictures are brighter than the others. Is there a good way to adjust all the 18 pictures to the same level other than color balancing each individual one?

It's hard to say without seeing them... can you post up a couple of the most contrasting shots?

As gaus said without seeing,it is tough to say but it sounds like actions may help here

I agree with iDad but you might want to keep in mind, that if you setup an action, you may want to the pictures close in range or you will just wind up adjusting a bunch pictures to different levels and your back where you started. It depends how close your pics are if making an action is a good idea.....

Might be better to adjust each one separately, 18 pictures isn't that many...

Thanks for all the replies.

No, 18 files isn't that bad. But if I need to do this all the time then that will be too much. I guess the best way is to take the pictures under natural light instead of using the flash light. Attached are the two most contrast pictures. Using Brightness and Color Balance I could manage to get them very close. Just tedious and couldn't be too consistent among all the 18 files.

It sounds like you're asking how to edit future photographic mistakes you're planing to make because editing these 18 in PS isn't the problem.
The question should be how do I get it right in the camera in the first place eliminating the need to PP for white balance.

What are you trying to do with the photos?
How are you lighting them?
What kind of setting are you using on your camera?
What's your white balance setting?
Do you know how to set custom white balance?
Do you shoot in RAW?

those pictures look very similar or even identical in terms of camera placement and what you are photographing.... so I would ask, what did you change? The lighting or a setting in your camera... or did you edit them differently in Photoshop?

I think Steve is right, if you want to get them consistent just find the right camera settings and lighting and don't change it each time you take a new pic.

Also, as iDad suggested you can make an action.

Let's say that you find yourself making the same Brightness/Contrast or Curves, or Hue/Sat levels adjustments to many photos. Just record a new action with the steps you are doing to one image and you can easily apply it to multiple photos. If you need help doing this let us know.

Make sure if you make an action to do this that the changes you are making are within a very close range, i think that's key in this situation.. I also agree that you need start at the source which is your camera and go from there..
