Hello,

I represent a non-profit organization that just recently launched.

We focus on scientific research and youth development to encourage future generations to pursue careers in math, science and engineering. You can learn more about us at our site, uasoinc.org

We need some help with sprucing up the existing design, promotional material and various other graphics for our ongoing projects. Any amount of help given will help us accomplish our mission.

Thank you.

When I think of motivating children to get into Math, physics and engineering, I think of roller coasters.

When you say design, do you mean your website? Because I have to say, it is difficult to read. It also happens to be a style I don't like, but that's my opinion.

not a website designer Paul; just expressing an opinion.

I'm sure this NPO can find some help here. It sounds like they need quite a bit but as he (she) said, any help is appreciated. I just am not clear what help is needed.

I agree, the font size could go a size or two larger.

Help we need, more specifically:

- Expand on existing site design to 'polish' it off a bit more and add a few content items.(more specifics for people who want to help)
- We will also be created project sites which an mirror the existing design, but we will need help with the layout.
- Last, print items: business cards, letterhead, fliers...

I can go into detail with anyone that has an interest in helping out.

Thanks!

I think maybe you need to put this into a different category. There are two categories dealing with web design. Contact a moderator and have them move the thread rather than duplicate this. Or whatever they think best.

I'm in agreement with everyone else about the font-size, it is much too small. If you need help with layouts, I may be able to assist in this matter. For starters, change the p tag to use the em unit of measurement instead of using pixel values. The em unit of measurement sizes elements based on the user's browser settings, in this case the text size. Contact me if you need to.
