I'm an avid model builder and I've now gotten into drawing my own decals.

I would like to recreate the "blend" on British Airways tail logo. At a distance this looks like a blend, however closeup it appears to be a series of dots. These dots are larger in the center and as they radiate outwards, they get farther apart and smaller. How can I go about recreating this in an efficient manner without drawing each individual dot? I hope this is a clear description.....

Thanks for helping the new guy.

can you show us an example of the logo?

It won't let me post. I don't have enough posts yet. I will post two more test posts and then a link to airliners.net.

Thanks

I seem to recall someone posted some halftone patterns on here somewhere those would help

Hi flieger welcome to the forum

Using Filter>Pixelate>Color Halftone,

You can make any shape into a halftone pattern whit some practice you will be able to recreate that logo on the picture linked.

Also, i found you a link that i consider is very helpful in creating this kind of patterns
Guide to Halftone Pattern

Good Luck
