hi all

i just joined this thing 2nt, did a google for ps forums and chose this one

im using coppermine on a mates website and have various image galleries, some of the images are wider than the page so are pushing out of the sides so i guess i need to resize...anyways i wanna keep the same quality and everythin but just resize images to 700px width and also at tsame time auto reduce the height so its in proportion

im using PS CS3

can anybody tell me the way please, as it happens ive used fireworks before on work pc and its quite easy on there but i dont have that program here

thanks

jamie

Welcome jamie750 8))

You need to create an action first and then use that action in a batch.

For more details, check out what I wrote in another thread earlier this day:

This example deals with 7 folders, in your case you can keep it simple and use only one.

When you resize the image (Image/image size) it will always maintain proportions, since it's selected by default (see attachment).
