So I just typed out a lengthy post, inserted a photo asking for help with it (since my simple program can't handle what I'm looking to do). And i get a message stating i have to have 4 posts before i can send a link :banghead: which i assume was refering to the inserted photo Bcuz I didn't link anything. UGHHHH

So how is everyone doing this evening?

Thank You, I did read the site rules prior to joining.

It was not a link, simply this photo. . . trying again.

Hey it worked. :-) Okay so my camera has a color swap setting where you choose the color you wish to be highlighted. I choose red and do not like the color in her lips. My simple porgram won't let me be detailed enough to get rid of the color, without turning the whole thing black n white.
Can / will anyone do this for me?

OK I removed the color on the lips, nothing more.

FYI, shoot in full color mode at the highest resolution and use Photoshop or some other program to alter the image.
When you do these effects in camera you're usually throwing out a lot of data.

IMG_9712.JPG Thank You so much, I can touch up her skin.

The camera is older not a very high mp, it does save the origional and the one with the color option. Would this one print in better quality if color was edited?

I've tried something whit your picture if you don't mind

I'm not a photographer myself, but as Steve said, when taking pictures, always try to keep the most of color info available, so later on when you edit the image you can play whit adjustments layers like: levels, exposure, curves etc. And yes the printing quality will be better.
