Hi, guys, I'm making a research on photo editing programs for some work I'm doing and, before I buy the program and begin a course to learn how to use, I need to know if it is actually capable of doing what I want.
I have some photos where the background and the foreground are pretty much the same color, with minor variations, and I need to be able to remove the background. The problem is that the image on the foreground is not that solid, it is punctuated, almost blended with the background.
I don't have yet a photo to post here to exemplify (but I will do soon), so I will describe a situation:
I have a photo that consists on a black, grainy, fingerprint over a newspaper page. Can I separate the fingerprint?
Thanks for the help and sorry for the broken english, it is not my native language.
