Hi everyone, I have had PS for a few years and I've done the basic editing etc. I know my way around but don't know how to fix something.

Last night was my wedding anniversary (who cares!) and also a full moon here in Mass. I walked on the beach with my wife and thought it would be cool to take the attached picture, but didn't line things up properly! Aside from the fact that she shut her eyes (I guess I can say she was making a wish...) the moon isn't between her fingers.

Can anyone tell me the best way to fix this? I only know the basics but want to learn.

Thanks for your patience and help.

Pat

Hi Pat, there are many ways to fix this one. I decided to basically replace the entire sky and moon. I masked off your wife and the foreground. I then tried to match the night sky on a new layer. On yet another new layer, I added the moon with the Elliptical Marquis tool. I tried to match the color, shape, and glow.

I'm certain someone else will come along with a better result.

Happy Anniversary!
