Hi chillman,
The forum has had some glitches which is the cause of that problem. While none of us may notice particularly, theKeeper is going to use new software to drive the forum and is in the process of the upgrade. All the glitches will go away in the near future. Until then please don't be concerned if something doesn't quite work right.

What Welles has stated is true.
But that function should not be misbehaving. It was never a problem before.
That particular function is based on cookies, so you may want to checkout your cookie settings for your browser prefs. Maybe something is up there. If not though i couldn't really say what might be wrong in this case, except that it may've just been a server/browser/forum glitch for a moment.
Next time something appears out-of-sorts, try refreshing the page once or twice and see if that helps at all. :B
