Hello. I'm pretty much new, as you can tell. Don't know anything about Photoshop, and thought I'd ask here for a little help. If I'm posting at the wrong section, pardon me, and please direct me to the right forums.

I have a family picture, that was taken with a cellphone, which came out a bit blurry, and dark. Was taken with a cellphone, and at night. So what do you expect, eh?

Is it possible to un-blur it a bit? Clear the picture up a little.

Thank you very much.

I would duplicate layer, invert it put the top layer in divide mode and decrease the fill 21% give or take, that will help a bit

Thank you for your quick reply. As I've stated, I don't know anything about photoshop. Is there somewhere where I can make a request from someone to do that? Thank you.

people here can do it for free if they so choose, I recommend them trying the method I outlined, it
should work a bit Although there are other ways. Be patient somebody will come along

You can increase the exposure and mask it on parts of the image that you like to brighten up (faces mainly) by using the brush. You can try and sharpen it a little by duplicating the image, Filter - Other - High Pass (Play with the settings a bit to your liking) and set this layer to overlay. You can also mask out the parts using the brush that you don't want to increase the sharpness on (background, some clothing etc).

This was only quickly done. I'd recommend that you at least try to do it yourself and take your time.

Thank you RTContent. It's great. You can clearly see the difference between the 2 pictures.

I'll take all your advice into consideration, and once I have enough fortune to get PS6, I'll play along and do it myself next time.

Thank you again!!
