Here is a new one I finished a few days ago. It is now printed and ready for framing. Print is a beauty. Let me know what you guys and gals think of it. It's a free photo from Stock Exchange as the source stock image.

Yeah great work on the hand, the face loses edge if i am honest.

Paul, the vibrancy of this image is lost online. It looks great in print.

No mate not having a go, and i believe you honest i do, it's just that the face looks less worked than the hand (which is brilliant).
I like the feel to it, full of emotion and a vulnerability which is good.

Inspired me to pick up the pen for the Wacom and get back to this stuff myself, been a while.

Paul, yeah that face was killer should have tried to preserve more detail. Thanks for your comments!

Yes,I must have overkilled it. I was trying hard to maintain that grunge look but looks like I was a bit off the mark. It still made a nice print and love the mood of it. Old guy looks like he is just down to nothing..probably true too. Thank you for the comments.
Intense . . .

I do agree that the face in contrast to the hand loses the definition and character of the original. Too much mixing I think.
