Well not really a kid, but new to photography and photoshop, after many years without a decent camera (my last SLR was way back in the 70's) I have just got myself a new DSLR (D3100) and managed to get photoshop CS5 and Lightroom 3 from a friend who did not like the feel of it, he has always used coral and just couldn't get his head around photoshop so gave it all to me for 1/2 what he paid for them,
So far I have been practacing by following tutorials on youtube, but they are limited in what they can teach so I am happy I have found this group, I'm sure you will help me lots as I stumble from one problem to the next
is there a printable list of short cuts for these programs?
I have not touched Lightroom yet and wonder if I even need it, but time will tell I guess.
I will mainly be doing landscape and low light photography I think, but also whatever I see that attracts me really, as my daughter likes having her picture taken I am sure there will be a good number of portrate photo's as well.
I go to the Carribean every other year and hope to get some good underwater pictures while diving, in the past I have used a compact with underwater case, but the pictures have been a bit hit and miss, hopefully the DSLR will change that
