I am new to this forum today. I joined because I was looking for answers to why my Photoshop CS4 stopped working properly. I saw a post from May that had the same problem but no one could help correct it. The problem is the brackets for decreasing and increasing the brush size all of a sudden just stopped working. Two days ago they worked then yesterday they didn't. Does anyone know why and how to fix this problem? I really depend on those 2 little brackets!! Thanks
 
Welcome to PSG chinapaintr.

Check the language the keyboard set when the problem happen, Photoshop only recognize shortcuts when the language is set to English.
 
Yes I have tried most everything posted on here. I am going to do a complete reinstall now. I did notice that I am not the only one this happened to in the last few days. Must be something global not individualI think, why else would it happen to several of us with nothing in common?
