This is just one of many possible techniques.

In addition to some well placed and scaled text, you can accomplish a lot by typing on a path. You will have to learn the Pen Tool. It's just a matter of creating an open ended path and placing text on it. Here is a Google Page full of Text on a Path tutorials.

Here's a little something I started so you could get the idea. I just used a image of the popular mouse, reduced it's opacity, and used the Pen Tool to create open ended paths which I then added text. You can size and space the text to fit on the path.
