Gentlemen, would you help me what is making and how to use it. and what is the purpose of it..

thank you and God Bless..

Do you mean "masking"? If so, the purpose of applying a mask is to expose or protect selected areas of the image. Any area that has a mask can accept the various tool applications etc that photoshop can do. The mask is created via selection. Here is a video.

Hi, moy...

Basically , Layer Masks control which areas of the image the adjustment or edit is applied to.

Mask.jpg

In the Layers window you can see the original full color image and the color balance layer over it. In the color balance layer is a layer mask which is half black and half white, the black causing part of the image to be revealed in color. This is how layer masks work and are used to target your adjustments or edits.

This goes the same to any adjustment layer apllied. As well as any edit you do.

This is from another thread....

You will notice in the layer pallete, the black masks of the top two layers interlap each other . the white reveals part of the image on each layer. THe black hides the rest of the image in the layer and reveals the image in the layers beneath it. The part where the black masks of the topmost layers interlap reveals the first layer's center area.
