Need some serious help on my facebook banner!

I am very new to Photoshop cc and need some help. A lot of things seem very off about my banner. I wanted the letters to look like they are flying out, but can't figure it out. If you have any suggestions on how to better this, please tell me. : )

The perspectives on the text is all wrong compared to the background.

Something like this? I corrected the perspective on the text to match with the perspective on the background.

Wow Eggy! That looks wonderful!! I love the 3D lettering, too. I couldn't do that (something to do with video card). I love how the background has some dark shades, too. It looks so perfect for fb and such. Thank you!
