I posted before cant find the thread so ill attempt the second time i am new to photoshop and want to learn some things. My name is tamika and me and my sister are trying to play a joke on my mother i will upload the picture so that i can learn how to do it or even if someone could do it and then explain to me how its done i tried but i was so lost the only thing that needds to be changed is the date to say 11-16-2012 and where can we print it out so that it is on the same type of paper

Yes i could see how people would think that but it is my sisters and i know nothing about photoshop just wanted some help or tips since this is a forum all about photoshop i didnt want to post the picture because of that reason but someone on here suggested that i should so that someone could explain to me what to do.
 
Man this is easy just take a color sample close to the original date and paint with brush tool over the original date and type / clone your own text in that place...

I don't know from where you can print it out , depends where you live.

To be honest it's a simple process but not sure I would want to put my name on anything like this. Too many possibilities, and possible backfires.
Nem pretty much has the way to do it, but sorry. Won't be having a go myself.
 
thanks for your input but yet again i will make it clear that this is strictly a family prank and i really want to do it myself like i said before only posted the pic because someone in the forum suggested that i should did not want to for this reason i am just new to photoshop and needed pointers.

It looks like the guy is telling the truth but then again I won't be asking him to prove it by posting a video on Youtube.... well this was the best I could do for you Mika83 sorry.
