Hello,

I am in need of help to fix smooth edges on this car livery I am making for a team. I have a deadline of 15th. I have tried doing the normal guides of mask layering etc but I cannot get things good personally no matter how many different guides I follow. With the quality of the edges currently it makes this livery look very low quality in game.

I am pretty much a noobie at photoshop in terms of doing smooth edges/painting etc (I can just do layers etc) so I really need advise or for someone to fix this for me (Could give a reward for it if its allowed here)

I've attached two images where you can see with the white etc that the edges being jagged and causing low quality.

Thanks in advance.

Hi, I tried to edit/move topic but was not able to. I read the rules, but missed the bit where I am not suppose to ask for PS help in this forum section.

Sorry in advance.

Have you tried increasing the resolution? Press Ctrl + N then do the canvas size, but put 720 for the resolution. You should then be able to smooth the edges out using the methods you have already tried. If you get completely stuck, you can email it all to spruce@sprucemagoo1.com and I'll help you out.

Thanks for the reply. Tried upscaling resolution but don't improve it? but there is requirement of the template being a certain file size for the structure it will be used in the league, so it has to stay at 2048x2048.

My main problem is my skills in PS are not that great yet, keep trying ways to improve it but keep struggling, so will hit you an email.

Many Thanks.

Email away! Though after this is done, you may want to browse through the tutorial section of the forum, or even doing a search for tuts on YouTube.

I managed to get it at a better level and with a couple of tips of an old friend.

Sorry for not emailing, will be needing more advise here in future.
