Hey everyone, my grandmother really wants a photo of her mother "fixed up" and I figure it would be a nice gift. I'm a Photoshop novice and am having trouble getting the shadows and such to look right. One of the issues I'm having is that the original photo I have is a photo of a photo so I'm dealing with alot of quality issues. My budget is super low but can pay with Paypal if you can do the job. Below is the image and also the version I made with Photoshop in a few minutes...obviously I want this to look really nice and I completely messed up the hair and eyes in my version...if you are interested email me at the same username i have on this forum @gmail.com....thanks in advance, Also if you all think this is an impossible task please post!

Here is what I came up with... If you're happy with the results I can remove the watermark and give it to you in the full resolution.

Thanks, don't know the etiquette about posting work prior to payment. I'd rather just post the finished product, but doing that would probably discourage payment for services/time.

Well this may give you an idea, as you can see that image now has my "WaterMark" on it saying KRF Photography with the copywrite symbol on it.

As you have PS try making one all you have to remember is to nock down the opacity

Truth be told I usually use a stylized watermark, though I feel in both cases (yours & mine) they are far to easy to remove.

Though it appears the original image posted is only a lowrez file, so any actual retouching would more than likely need to be done to the larger version.

Thanks to the several responses, I forgot to sign up for email reminders and didnt check the forum....I've finally gotten in touch with HC and trying to negotiate some compensation for his/her work....

as far as the watermark, definitely a good call, although i would seriously think that if someone was trying to photoshop someones watermark "OUT" of the photo they worked for in hopes of compensation/business....well anyways extremely wrong and completely messed up

thanks again HC - you are extremely talented based on what I have seen from your other work around the net
