need help with waterfall

Hey guys,

I have been working on this picture for a little while now and just cant seem to get this waterfall to look like anything other then garbage.

What am I doing wrong?

You're showing too much water.
Do a search for waterfall pictures and compare them to yours. Especially when you're in a rocky environment...
 
Unless it`s on a planet with much stronger gravity than ours, it needs more motion, mist, and the interaction with the river/lake at the bottom.
A waterfall is alive. It bounces off the rocks in it`s path, great leaping gobules, spewing, turning,twisting, laying over itself,turning to mist as it falls, splashing into the reservoir at the bottom, rippling off onto serene calm as it....

What was the question ? :)

Falling water is a difficult project. You`ve got a good start here, keep us pdated on this one.
