Need help with tablet lines

i have a bamboo tablet & when i am drawing lines it makes them look jittery and the edges arent smooth like i want them. any ideas? ... i have attached some images so you can see my lines and my settings ... please help!!!

Hi,

In your Brush Tip shape panel, tick the Spacing box and set spacing to 1%.

Turn off Shape Dynamics and Transfer. Add Smoothing.

Make sure the Brush Preset control is checked in your Brush Tool toolbar for tapered lines, off for smooth.

i do not see an option for smoothing in my brushes panel, i am using cs5 ... is it located somewhere else?

I see it the image you posted, you just have it locked. Click on the lock to unlock.

as you can see i did that really fast lol but yes the lines are good now i think,
