I have a gateway M-7301-U laptop running Vista, Photoshop CS4. and just recently bought an Intuos4 wireless tablet, and an Art Pen (KP701E2), which allows a brush in Photoshop to be rotated as the barrel of the pen is rotated on the tablet. My laptop does not have a graphics card, and OpenGL is grayed out (Edit>Preferences>Performance>GPU Settings), so rotate canvas or animated zoom does not work- I knew that when I bought the tablet. I have set the angle jitter dialog box to Rotation- and it doesn't change the orientation of the brush when I rotate the Art Pen. On my intuos1, I was able to get the angle of the brush to change with the stylus wheel on my airbrush, so I thought it wouldn't be a problem to rotate the brush with the rotate function on the art pen. My question is this: Is this an OpenGL problem, which means if I want my art pen to work as a rotating brush I'd need a new computer, or am I just not setting it up right in Photoshop?
