Need Help with my logo

Hello all....

I would appreciate it if some kind soul would be able to hook this up for me.

Now I have been using this text logo for a few years now. What I would like to have this turned into is a 3D gold raised logo, protruding from the left side...as if this is going to be placed on the outside of a building.

I have included all files attached...The current rendering image is also attached.
Color to be used is: 0000CC with a plastic wrap filter. These are to stay the same.
The PSD file I included is completely unedited. So you'll have to rework it from the ground up. Color and plastic wrap stays same, unless some other filter fits.

Hello,

Yes something like that....in a 3D mode. The back can be gold or platinum (more platinum). keeping the Color and the current filter for the front of the logo.
 
But I like that Gold color on the front too....Looks more modern to get another take on something :). Make em both. One with the Blue and the Gold, Please.
 
I am not entirely sure what you are after

my 1st image was me just playing with it from scratch using 3d tools and actual 3d

the 2nd image is your image with a hue saturation adjustment layer so I can change all the blues to a gold (ish color.)

I can not recreate your initial logo in 3d because your font is not actually a 3d compatible font hence the fact it has no gold caps just the outline, Through trickery I have filled in the gaps with a duplicate of the text darker color and a bigger fillet cap tweaked to make it all solid. Which has given a cool effect.

Also your logo Is spelt URBan is this a typo or how you want it to be I rarely see capital letters used like this
 
Thanks. You did use the color hex I specified, right? :) But Yes, it is the Font that causes the uppercase and lowercase confusion. Def am aware of it, it's not an issue tho.

use the eye dropper tool to get the color you want it is different throughout the image.

the 3d 1s have a texture on them as well and the color is effected by the lights around the logo, in 3d you need to add lights to the scene for best results and reflections so wherever the light shines from and the brightness will effect shades throughout the text
 
Hoogle I am loving what you can do with 3D Type - can you advise on a tutorial - which program did you use Photoshop or Illustrator or both? You seem to crank your 3D designs out quickly and they look great!
 
I love 3d work I will use a combination of photoshop, illustrator and cinema 4d.

Primarily all my 3d work is done in cinema 4d,

However I will use photoshop or illustrator to design shapes etc and turn them into work paths then I can export the paths into cinema 4d to turn them into 3d objects.
 
Gotcha ....forgive my nativity cinema 4D? is that Adobe - guess I should look it up - I have CS5 design suite with movie stuff but I doubt it has anything like cinema 4D - thanks for the info will look into further - you really know your 3D!!
 
No it is not Adobe it is Maxon but everything works greats with adobe hard to explain but you can import adobe product files into it and export cinema 4d products into adobe
