Need Help On Restoring A Faded Photo

Hi all,

Im a total newbie when it comes to photoshop but im looking to get this restored for my mother and was woundering how do I go about it??

Thnx for that. much better than I could do, but is it possible to get colour in there?

that is the problem.
the only channel that had detail is the red channel thats why with the original being blue it looks faded.
if you are good enough and had enough time you could recolor it manually
