** Need Help on Photoshop ** EXPERT Needed!!

I need help on the following picture using Photoshop program.
The following two pictures were produced in color... how can I make other color to be clear (transparent to the background) and leave only Black color on??

I don't know how to explain it.. but please refer to the picture's effect.
Also, how can I make these fonts???

Any help will be WONDERFUL!!

Here's a couple of ways.

1. Duplicate your black channel (if you're in CMYK) and contrast it up so you only have the elements you need. Make a selection from it and make a mask from the selection. You can then fine tune the mask to eliminate the little bits that contrasting the channel didn't capture.

or

2. Menu > select > colour range. Play around with this and you'll probably achieve what your after. Again, use the selection created to make a mask - DON'T DELETE.
