Ok first of all explanation this Is a photo I took of a friend his favourite movie is the matrix (I know dated now) he has an online tag of Gadg3t man all though you will not see it in this pic it is only 10% of the size all of his body is actually like a circuit board which I spent way to much time on luckily I managed to save a jpeg but not the psd file before our bilding power went out I want to add a white inner glow to every little character in the matrix letters not the Gadg3tman part but all those tiny little letters without doing the whole picture again and without doing it all manually with a paint brush I have tried to do a preset pattern and it just looks worse does anyone know of a way to achieve this bearing in mind I dont have the layers and I cant really add anoter layer with glow effects it needs to be subtle and constrained within the tiny characters or am I going to have to redo the whole pic again
Matrix gad3t.jpg

That's gonna be a tough call mate, you could actually try to add a glow to the tiny letters on that picture, but it's just gonna look like a bunch of vertical lines all across the picture, and that's not gonna look good.

maybe is better to start fresh from the beginning, so you can work directly over the text itself, and maybe make the matrix text a little bit bigger so the shapes are distinguishable.

just my thoughts.

Yeah I have decided to work on it from the begining it is going to be printed on a canvas now so yes that text is to small and will bleed however It should only take 10 to 15 mins now to actually redo once I have created the small text and set it as a pattern got to love the predifine pattern tool thanks for your input though much appreciated

however I have never done anything on canvas printing I dont suppose you know what is the best image mode it is currently in RGB but someone said canvas prining is better in CMYK but some resources online say it comes out blue this will get very expensive especially as it is going to be 5 feet wide to trial and error

You are right, as far as i know, everything that is gonna be produced using commercial printers and commercial equipment by far it has to be in CMYK, if you'r gonna use your image to be printed locally like small domestic printers, or for display purposes like lcd monitors or the internet you will be fine whit RGB

Yeah I thought that too but got scared when starting to read it came out blue on canvas printing I will do the file in all the options that way it should be ok it is only 2 colours after all thanks for your time
