Need Help Creating this Symbol on photoshop.

Hello all,

I am a bit of a photoshop newb and need some help with the following.

I am a mac user running CS6.

I am trying to create this triangle in photoshop.
I added the picture with no problem. But I want to be able to change the colors of it and have a perfect outline around it.

Here is the triangle I am attempting to recreate.



Any help would do me wonders!

The Pen Tool is awesome for this type of task.

You could also use the shape tool with no fill and a large black stroke.

Hi Wayne,

Choose your custom shape tool...


Go to the "Custom Shape Picker" in your tools options menubar.....


Chose a triangle from the selection....


If you don't see a triangle, then click on the gear icon.....


Append the selections by adding "Shapes".


Set your Tool mode to shape, make your fill color anyone you want, set your stroke if you like.


The rest is click and drag. You can use guides and Free Transform to create and adjust.
