Specific Need edit!!

I have 2 team photos that we took, but in one I have a guy blinking, in the other his eyes are open but he isn't smiling and someone else has their head down. If I could get an edit of the photo so that the blonde kid's eyes actually look open that would be amazing. It's virtually the same photo, I just have no idea how to do it myself.
Photo 1 would be the main photo that I'd like to use. Photo 2 is the photo that the blonde guy in the back has his eyes open in.

I didn't leave the nice smile in because the eyes aren't smiling but at least it has the best of both photos

Giving it a try - I think the smile and the open eyes work since there's a bit of "squint" to work with. Also did some skin touchup.
