Thought id share some of my photos i made in winter.

Nice pix! I'm sure you will find many interesting things here on PSG.

BTW, you are not the only guy who likes winter in the Baltics. I took the attached photo about 10 yrs ago a couple hundred km south of you in LT.

Correction: I just noticed that I was typing too fast when I wrote my previous message. I took that photo 20 years ago, not 10, and I took it on a tiny Olympus XA probably on Fuji Pro 400 negative film around sunset (I'm too lazy to dig out the negs).

With respect to old pix taken by old-timers, I've got pix going back to the mid 1960's that look even better than this one.

The only difference between now and then was that in those days, for a given skill level, the percent of good shots was much less back then then it is now, so you learned how to nail the shot on the first try if you didn't want to waste huge amounts of money on film. :-(
