My Styles, Gradients, Shapes and Brushes are all missing....

Hello again!

I have just started using Photoshop CS5 and I am already having a strange problem. Yesterday I added some styles, gradients, shapes and brushes located in the Presets folder. I thought that everything was fine until I tried to load them this morning. I couldn't believe that none of the files show up at all. Nothing! Can someone tell me what may have happened?

BTW, I am using Windows.

Sounds like you laced them without saving them

If you dragged and dropped the files into the folder, try using the longer Right Click -> Copy / Paste method or the CTRL key method to paste / add them. I had the same problem for some reason of them not saving and loading and when I dragged and dropped but they worked when I did it that way.

Interesting, ive never heard of Windows acting like that. What version of Windows and what version of CS5?

if you added them to ps but did not save them ps will not save once it quits.

o0o, i see what your saying, ive never loaded shapes while Photoshop was open, i always exit PS, put them in the folder, then reopen PS...
