Looks great... detail and hilight on the pupils of the second one are good.

Done on the Intuos, directly in PS or pen and paper?

We've got a few cartoonists here... most notably agentmoeller. And he uses a tab in his art work apart from other devices. Check out his works.

Excellent work.

I've never been able to do this well directly in Photoshop. Are you using a tablet? Seems to me you would have to if you want such detail and control.

I'm trying this with another approach.. I'm doing before a greyscale coloring and after I'll apply all the colors...

Fantastic work!

Like you, I found that painting with color in Photoshop takes some getting used to, it does not act the same as actual paints/brushes do! The principles are the same though.

Nice work! I like mostly how you made the hair... Guess you should not hide so many of them in the shadow on the last pic...
