My PS is so "dark"

Lately all my images appear so much darker than they used to be. My thought was that this has to do with the "Color settings" (edit - color settings), but no matter how much I try to tune here, my images stays dark. When I save for web the images turn back to normal in the websave screen.

How can I know what settings are correct for my 19" Samsung 191T ? :{

well, I got it myself....VIEW - PROOF SETUP - MOITOR RGB [slick]

Well...I still have to do this everytime. Maybe I found a solution that wasn't the correct one? 8}
