ok, so after 3 years im finaly back to photoshop, and im a little rusty, i would be happy of any advice so here is my first work

Looks pretty cool! I like your use of negative space.

Subtle. And yes, the negative space is great.
Thinking about the light source here, (the moon), the wolfs head would be more silhouetted like the trees are.
