Hey Paul, cool shots but have you ever shot video on your 3100? A friend of mine was looking at getting one for just video and was wondering if you had any opinions.

You only get 10 minutes shoot time, the quality is very good. But if your only after video you can get stand alone video recorders for less that are made for the job.

Okay thanks for that. Do you do a lot of photography? Any particular subject matter that you enjoy most?

Only had the camera a few weeks now, very good so far, i just shooting anything in front of me at the minute.
Trying to learn rules of photography and how things work for best results, nice trip so far.

Cool keep it up. Photography is a great thing to get into. Shame I actually studied it at University and lost my passion, but hopefully it will come back

I'm in the same boat, bought a new camera and just shooting at everything and anything. Keep up the good work, I really like the fly btw especially how you can even see the detail of the little hairs on its back.
