no I'm not crazy, I'm Alex :P

Future Air Rifle:
BSA Comet Composite .177 calibre @11.4 ft/lbs (full power)

with scope, targets pellets and all that jazz.

My Dream rifle:

Steyr Manlicher HS .50 M1 rifle

There is about a £4900 difference between the two XD

I would like a Sako TRG-22 as well, but i fell in love with the .50 M1

If you were wondering in the other thread that's what these:
My pretties 2.jpg

will be mostly for ;) I do have another pair in which i will discuss tomorrow.

I made the choice of getting an air rifle to brush up on my target shooting practice so i can at least train to a competitive level for cadet marksmanship challenges.

I love composite stocks, my Marlin 60 .22 rifle has one! So it looks a little similar to the air rifle you're getting.

Mmmm mmmm, your dream rifle is beautiful. That muzzle break is incredible. Makes me excited to shoot my friend's .50 cal Barrett when he gets it ^_^

are you preparing for the upcoming zombie apocalypse?

Aye, that i am, that i am XD no i'm training myself for cadets, i think the comet composite wouldn't do much damage, the .50 M1 would :P

Indeed, composite stocks rock! the M1 is a goregeous rifle, but it's nothing on what you can get up and going on the range, normally i'm not a fan of Steyr, if i was going for a full fat rifle smith, i'd go Heckler and Koch or Barrett but they don't make legal weapons in our country >_>

i think i may say "stuff the holiday" and move to Texas! XD

yeah, heat is the only off putting thing for me, being used to used to cold/wet/windy weather i suppose i'd adapt to that though.

that must have bit really hard without AC! :o

Yes... it was. And my car broke down too on the way to work, lol. Luckily that was in the morning but later in the day when I went to look at it and try to figure out what was wrong, it was about 104 degrees Fahrenheit (40 degrees Celsius).

I hate the heat so much. I love cold weather, so Texas isn't exactly ideal temperature wise! Still a great state though.

oooh that really sucks! what was up with it?

Heat is such an unwelcome thing really, winter is good when it's just been snowing and the sun is out, you get the best of both worlds then :P

Not sure yet. Thought it was the alternator at first but it doesn't seem like that's the problem. Have to wait until Friday to get it looked at.

I wish I saw snow in the winter, lol. It's been several years since it snowed here and even then it was only for a day then the next it was gone.

That's my favorite kind of weather though, when the wind is cold and the sun is out! (:
