my first works

That bad at all. I like how the first one was done, something I guess elegant about it. The last one kinda made me laugh. The face is just priceless.

I do agree hershy.

Nice work. I also agree with prd. Just ditto ditto guys.

I won't give any critique except on the Sherlock Holmes poster. The dissolve effect does nothing for the image. To me it is only distracting and gimmicky, taking away from other effects. I can't seem to pull my eyes away from the foreground figure's face and appreciate the rest because of the way the face is crumbling. But of course, that's IMO. How much of the BG did you make? Not having the images you composited makes it harder to appreciate the end results.

But, I say, nice work and keep it up!

Not bad for a first attempt. For this reason, I will try to be a conservative as I can be with the critiques. I will review each of the four images, numbering them accordingly as I go.

1. I am not sure what this is supposed to represent. The girl layer appears to be both blended into and blend overlaid onto the background. This is a bit confusing and disjointed for the viewer.

2. I agree with ibclaire in that the dissolve does not work here. Additionally, the Moriarty "Mini Me" looks out of place, as he is an equal of sorts to Holmes; he should be the same scale as Holmes.

3. The rain effect looks like and overlaid rain effect. While this effect can add a surreal ambiance to an image, and this cannot be accomplished with a single layer effect. What you want to do is create several layers varying in scale and density. Also, gradation added to the overall lighting enhances the storm effect, creating atmosphere.

One thing to keep in mind for future reference: an effect should not "look" like an effect, but be a part of the image.

4. What did you do here? It appears that you extracted a face from an image and then overlaid it onto a planet in yet another image. That is fine except for two things: a) the facial image is cut off on the left side so that it does not cover the entire planet, and b) the lighting and coloring of the facial overlay do not match the profile of the background (space and planet underneath the face). One solution is to use a photo filter adjust layer to filter out certain colors or to make the color profiles more consistent (depends on the color filter you use and how you blend that layer). Another option is to use a gradient layer blend.

I hope what I said is taken as constructive criticism. I mean no insult. We have all been where you are; your level of knowledge and skill will grow as you continue using Photoshop.

For the first time above are really awesome but i saw the first one before from you. So that's old style i like most fourth one. That's pretty stunning and creative one, as my opinion. Plenty awesome looking however keep it up. Hopefully you will be greatest one in future.
