My first Project

Hey Guys, Im working on my first real photoshoped project, im bassically takinga picture of me, and trying to add a light saber to it, I dont have a problem doing the effect, just trying to get the lightsaber handle into my hands. any help can be appretiated.

get your pen tool draw around your left hand make a new layer from it then paste in the saber over your hands as if you was holding it, then bring the new layer of your left hand back in over the saber as if to show you holding it.

Suggestion...I think you should put the light at the other side of your head.But this is great...
