My First Before & After

I have been concentrating on color correcting and enhancing portraits... In this attempt, I color corrected, white balanced, removed blemishes and crumbs (goldfish crackers), smoothed and re-textured the skin, and brightened the eyes. I feel like I didn't have a very good focus on his face for some reason... but it's all I had to work with.

Feedback is welcome, always looking to learn!

Sorry, but I have to disagree. On my calibrated monitor, he (and everything else) is MUCH too orange / saturated / high contrast. I would suggest something more like this...

PS - One more point: (a) You should save with a higher "quality" setting than 75. The JPG compression artifacts become very annoying when one has to make major changes to tonalities / colors.
