My Before and After series 4


I think you did a good job cleaning up all the obvious damage. But the image is left looking flat and unsaturated. Try opening up curves or levels and moving the start and end points to the edges of information in the histogram to optimize the tone you've got.

I dont know if it was your intention to end up with a B&W image. If it was, some contrast would help this image a lot.

But, it looks like there is some good color information on the dog. Maybe copy the original layer, move it to the top, set it to color mode, slap a layer mask on on it and paint in some of the dogs natural color?
