Hi all, I need someones help re Multiplicity Photography, when I get as far as the brush using the black foreground on Photoshop CS 5, its paints black on the subject instead of showing background where the subject was sitting, what am I doing wrong!:sad:

????

Are you trying to mask out something ? If so click the mask icon to make a white mask on your layer, then click on the mask and when you brush black you mask out parts ??

Hi Mike, Yeah I was trying to add multiplicity images of a subject into one photo, after a lot of patience I got finally got there.

From the way you phrased your question, it sounds like you are following a tutorial or procedure given to you by someone else.

I suspect that Mike is on the right track with his comments about distinguishing painting on the image versus painting on the layer mask. However, since there are many ways to composite multiple images into one, to answer your question, we need to know what procedure you are following to figure out where the problem arose. Can you post the URL of the tutorial you are trying to follow, or otherwise post the instructions.
