Multiple layers but only one animation frame

Hi everyone I could really use some help.

I duplicated layers from one project to another but then in the animation window, I only see 1 frame or sometimes just the original layers and not the ones I duplicated.

I have CS5 on a Mac.

duplicating layers does not duplicate frames you need to insert new frames and select the layer you want in that frame.

Thank you! When I added more frames though and tried to put in the layers I wanted, it would make all the frames the same.

That may happen coz you duplicated the original frame. You'll have to do each frame seperately to change the contents.

Then again... why duplicate the layer in the first place? All you need to do is hide or unhide the layer in the new frames.
