When writing a name on a truck in euro Truck simulator 2 using Photoshop I get a mirror image of the name
I am new to Photoshop

If you use an 3d object file from a resource from the game, it's likely that it has cloned polygons to optimize performance and thus when you edit one half of it the other half will clone itself as well. But if you just took a regular picture from the net and started to edit it then I'm at loss.

I am using a DDS file from the game.
 
Hi, thanks for trying to help me. I painted the door then done writing and this is what I get.

Yepp then it's cloned and mirrored. This is usually done by games to keep the polygon count down, the result of this is that the game is easier to run. In short, it improves the performance. Unfortunately you can't edit this in a easy way, you will either have to recreate the model or find a picture and paint it. In both cases you can't use the modified object inside the game.
