Fairplay to you for trying and completely ignoring my question, I am guessing you are just here to spam our members in hopes of getting new members yourself.

There are many types of photoshop users most of whch I would like to hope has some form of idea on Design. What good is tutorials if you cant read them. low opacity text boxes overlaying busy image background with random choice color fonts is by far 1 of the worst designed websites I have seen especially if you are there to teach people. surely even free hosted blog sites have 1 click installs of decent themes and styles. No one will stick around on your site as they cant navigate it or read it with ease..

As for just joining up to spam your site I will be removing all links including the 1 in your location and this thread until you have proven yourself as an active member on here not just here to spam your site.

Once you have the amount of decent posts and not just post spamming to get permissions you can then include your website in your homepage profile and your signature.

Wow, are you an ass or what? All you do is accuse me of spamming and basically say that my blog is ****. I am sorry that I was trying to be creative with a design and actually use some color, other than just using the basic mono-colored or two colored paint swatch design. Just wanted people to look at my blog, but you feel the need to be a bitch to anyone who is new and is just looking for a few followers and a few comments. You seem like the kind of person who would kick a puppy for fun. Well, **** YOU HOOGLE.

see just proving my point you have no interest in the community of Art let alone here at PSG Most people would take it as positive criticism even though the way you sum up my post is probably towards my true feelings toward your site maybe you should learn from it teach design then set an example.

Location (link to your site)
Occupation (link to your site )
Interests (link to your site)
Visitor messages (you sending yourself a message linking to your site)
Biography (link to your site)

Now call me crazy but that is spam.

Your attitude when called out which I did give you the benefit of the doubt and waited for the links rather than just ban you like every other spammer we get here self promoting themselves without helping others out on here stinks.

remove all links on your profile except the 1 link where it belongs on your home page or I will which will be a ban, Which to be honest you should be already but I am far more tolerant to teenagers than my colleagues on here.

What is the point of even keeping the link connected to my account? Seeing as the actual post about the blog contains a general link to youtube.com (oh wait, i am not supposed to use links. better replace it with something else.) which leaves people no way to find it even if they wanted to. All I was doing was trying to help people out who may not have known how to use photoshop and get a few followers, since this was an assignment, but forget it. There is no point if they cannot find it.

I agree: what is the point? As you have not responded to my polite private message and you have treated a senior moderator with disrespect, using colorful language, it is my decision to close this thread so you may see this message. Then after some time has passed, I will delete it. Any further commentary in this disrespectful tone will lead to you being banned, either temporarily or permanently. I haven't yet decided.

As stated in in the rules You may post a link to your personal work/website in the Homepage section of your profile and your signature when you qualify to do so, That is what those sections are for.

as you help and prove yourself on the forum with your knowledge people will click your links that are place appropriately if they like your knowledge and tutorials posted here.

A place where we have hundreds and thousands of threads helping people out.

That is the best way to gain followers or fans however you want to call them. If you just post here hey come look at my blog and make useless posts like your print screen tip (where if you read the thread you would see it was not about that but hey ho) People will just not give you a 2nd look and wont even look at your extra stuff.

Answer threads properly create your own tutorial threads get people on here to like your work and sure people will check out the link in your signature. Then after a while you wont need to spam your site, we get a couple of thousand visitors each day here if you prove yourself then you will get followers.

I hope members will read through this posting in order to get an idea of the behaviour, courtesies, and rules that administration -- sand most of the active membership -- at the PSG Forum would like to see. This happens most often with new members who don't understand the rules or the purpose of the forum. This happens when people jump into the fray without reading through FAQs, stickies, and other discussions which might lead them in the right direction and demonstrate how we "roll."

As we have said many times before, PSG is a discussion, support, and sharing platform for Photoshop enthusiasts, at any and every level who would like to participate.

We expect those who post tutorials to actively participate, not just spam threads, some 3 or more years old. We hope that new members who post their images without asking for critiques, comment, advice, etc., will remain and take part in the discussion, offering advice and comment where they are qualified or interested.

We have some members who are sadly drawn to the forum only for its freelance opportunity, however limited our clients may be. It is offensive to me and many others that they make absolutely no contribution in any other way to our members. I am not talking about all our regular freelancers as many of you actively support and help the general membership. Thank you for that. Thank you everyone who gives generously of their time and knowledge to offer advice, tutorials, etc. I only wish the forum had the resources to thank you monetarily.

But, in fact, we do it out of love for Photoshop and our personal sense of satisfaction; many of us have that teacher gene somewhere! I am grateful for your incredible support of those who need step by step instruction, for your creative advice, for the time you spend playing with PS to see how a particular effect might be achieved, by sharing your fantastic manipulations, photography, designs, and general "play." We are a good source for anyone who wants to use any or all of the above mentioned. (don't jump me if I left any mode out!)

You guys have earned my admiration. I hope you find gratification and keep coming back for years. We love you (And that isn't just the "Royal We.")

Cheers Kids (from one to 92), Aunty Clare AKA Queen Bee
