Masters of Photoshop Graphics, I have a question for you.

I know this question is a long shot, but I have to ask.

I had came across a 27px by 27px Graphic from a website i had visited and would like to design it myself in Photoshop, but I'm stumped on how it was created. Colors and ETC. Is there anyone that can answer that question?

Choose black and a gray as your foreground and background colors.
Then use the Gradient tool set to Foreground to Background.

How you drag the cursor and the shade of gray you use will affect how the gradient looks.
