While drawing a selection with the marquee tool, the marching ants selection lines aren't showing anymore but do display after I've finished making a selection. They used to display while drawing but all of a sudden stopped.

I've tried the following:

- restarting Photoshop
- resetting the Marquee tool
- View -> Show -> Selection Edges is clicked on
- Preferences -> Advanced Settings -> Tried Basic and Advanced
- searched various forums

Everything else is working fine so maybe I clicked a hotkey to change a setting? Any help would be much appreciated!
