Making realistic sheets of flat glass

Anyone have any advice on making realistic looking sheets of flat glass. I want to have a slick looking website user interface and background image with sheets of realistic looking overlapping sheets of glass.

Glass is all about the reflections. It either needs to reflect light, or something from it`s environment. The advantage of digital imaging is that you can make it do one or the other. In real life it has to do both.
Look at some flat glass. See how the light reflects in streaks ? That defines the angle between you and the light source. Decide where your light source is in your inteface and reflect some light.
