Hi
I am making some tactics for a computergame and for that I am trying to make arrows on a map. I have been using the freeform pen, but cannot make nice looking arrows.

Any tips?

Example og what kind of arrows I wanna make.

The arrows should be "bendable" so that I can make a trail for them and them apply them :) 8))

I've attached my collection of arrow shapes. Once you choose a Custom shape and draw it out by clicking and dragging, click on the path with the Path Selection Tool (black arrow just above the Pen Tool) which will select the path and show the anchor points. Hold down the Command/Control (PC) key to temporarily turn the Path Selection Tool to the Direct Selection Tool to modify any anchor points. Alternatively, you can just choose the Direct Selection Tool from the toolbox. It's under the Path Selection Tool.

In that fashion, shapes are infinitely adjustable.

Welles - nice solution.

JB - If you're looking for simple arrows, choose the shape tool and choose the line shape. In the options for the line shape you have the choice of putting arrowheads at the beggining or end of the line as well as some control over the shape. It's a nice quick way to add arrowheads, but it doesn't have the flexability in shape that custom shapes would have.

Ty dudes. Really helped.
