making a pile of parts !??

hello im trying to make a pile of electronic parts but im having much trouble . you see i dont feel confident in what im doing and how im putting this project together .. im still new to this so ill try not to beat myself up so much :banghead: .. but i just wanted to show you guys and ask of any suggestions ( tools and methods to use ) ... also if anyone might have a photo of a huge pile of parts that i may use for my site , that'll be totally awesome .

im going to eventually shape it as a cone ( point on top ) where ill be possibly photoshoping myself to the top of the pile ...

or what id really like to do is push the pile further back & make some sort of inventory room . possibly put some shelving units on both sides ... dim the photo , use some brushes instead of cropping some lights in there . and a little fog/smoke in the air ... and have myself sitting at a desk .. while all the elements are behind me

thats a really cool idea!, i think youve done a better job on the right side of the image than anywhere else, i say go back to that bit and duplicate parts of it to form your pyramid =)

its missing a ps3, i like the general idea. your doing good. ima photoshop newb myself, you just gotta punch threw the negative parts of it all and find the positive.
check out some of my work, i aint perfect yet either. i made the smoke effect pic. my bro wasnt even smoking when i took that.
