Hi guys,

I'm trying to make a custom template in PS CS5 to where i can drag an image to a layer and it resizes to that specific size.

For example i can take a image and drag it from my image folder onto PS stage and it will become a smart object automatically, but it resizes to the table size and then i have to resize from there.

Any suggestions ?

Action ? can ou lead the blind...in this case me :)

An action is literally a "recording" of your keystrokes in Photoshop.
The link $1r_M4x1mu$ posted explains it pretty well.

Hit the record button, make all your adjustments and changes to an image and save it to a unique name.

Then open a new image and run, "Replay" the action.
Whatever you did to the 1st image will be done to any other images automatically.

In Bridge you can batch as may files as you like (memory permitting) and have this action run on all of them, automatically.
